The Master of Science in Counselling is a research mode of study in the field of counselling that is constantly evolving in line with global developments, education, technology and the latest approaches in the field of guidance and counselling. Research can be conducted in a qualitative, quantitative or mixed mode to promote the development of knowledge, skills and best practices of effective guidance and counselling services to clients, counsellors, the community and the nation. Research focuses on areas of counselling such as school, career, family and marriage counselling, substance abuse prevention and rehabilitation, clinical mental health counselling, supervision and so on.
