The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology programme is designed to equip graduate students with knowledge and understanding of scientific endeavour and the role of empirical evidence in the development of theory relating to human behaviour and mental process. Among the branches of psychology which can be studied are Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Educational Psychology, Industrial and Organisational Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Health Psychology and etc. This programme aims to provide postgraduate-level training for students, to equip students with the research skills and professional development necessary for particular positions in various industries
