The Masters in Arts (Tamil Literature) program produces scholars who are able to conduct research on current issues in the field of Tamil literature as well as obtain the latest information that can be used in improving the practice of Tamil literature. The program aims to produce post-graduates in the fields of Classical Tamil Literature, Middle Tamil Literature, Modern Tamil Literature and Malaysian Tamil Literature
