ARTS EDUCATION
The aim of this course is to provide an inter-disciplinary approach for art educators from a range of professional areas. The flexible approach and delivery offers the opportunity for students to structure study to meet individual interests and areas of practice. This course is intended to enable teachers to demonstrate their understanding of how the boundaries of knowledge are advanced through research. The course will be expected to carry out a sustained research study, critically reviewing the current knowledge base of a specific area of educational practice, synthesizing research findings, and reaching appropriate conclusions. Students will also be able to make appropriate recommendations relevant to art educational practice
